First Concerts Announced for 2017 Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES-Country icon, Alabama, Canadian grunge rock band, Nickelback, and Christian sensations for KING & COUNTRY with special guest Matt Maher will be hitting the stage at the Iowa State Fair in 2017 as a part of the Iowa State Fair Grandstand Concert Line-Up presented by U.S. Cellular. A pre-holiday on-sale is planned for the first three concerts announced.

This will be the earliest the Iowa State Fair has ever put Grandstand tickets on-sale.

The 2017 Grandstand stage area is set for upgrades in 2018, so it seems appropriate that popular repeat performers, Alabama (2015), for KING & COUNTRY (2015), and Nickelback (2004) will grace the stage again.
The Iowa State Fair will be staggering on-sale dates for Grandstand shows. All shows will be announced via our website, e-newsletter, social media, and news releases once they are finalized and the shows will go on-sale shortly after each announce date. Ticket prices will vary depending on location of seats in the Grandstand. Information on individual concerts will be available at http://iowastatefair.org/on-stage/grandstand as acts are announced.
