Search Warrant Leads to Arrests in Eldon

Eldon, Iowa-The Wapello County Sheriff’s Department are reporting that a search warrant has led to two drug related arrests in Eldon.

A press release explains that on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 7th at approximately 2PM, Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at 112 Caster Street in Eldon. The search warrant was the result of an investigation involving the Manufacture of Methamphetamine.

Two men were arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine which is a Class “C” Felony. Daniel Strode, 24 of 2993 45th Street, Eldon, and William Aubrey, 28 of 112 Caster Street, Eldon, were the two men charged and both have additional charges pending.

Both men are currently being held in the Wapello County Jail on $50,000 bond.
