Obituaries: Rick Snow

Ralph Richard “Rick” Snow, 70, of Corydon, Iowa passed away February 7, 2017 at his home. He was born January 8, 1947 in Kirksville, Missouri to Ralph Junior and Dorothy Marguerite Rouse Snow. He married JoAnna Sue Ayer on July 7, 1969. Rick served in the U.S. Army for 2 years and spent most of his life as a self-employed mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnna; five sons, Rick Lee Snow of Anamosa, Billy (Anita) Snow of Ottumwa, Bobby Snow, Tommy Snow both of Corydon, Ronny (Shannon) Snow of Allerton, Iowa; daughter, Christina (Kevin) Snow of Allerton; four grandchildren, Kelsie, Hope, Star, and Richard; four brothers, Kenny, Jerry, Ivan, and Lessley; four sisters, Rita, Carolyn, Connie, Shirley; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Herbert Gene, Norman, and Roy.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Rick Fiedler officiating. Burial will be at the Snow Family Cemetery in Davis County. Military rites will be performed by Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to his family.
