OTTUMWA—Ottumwa High School is hosting two events to help parents with the college financial aid process.
Senior parents are encouraged to attend this year’s LAST FAFSA workshop on Tuesday, February 28 from 5-7 p.m. in the OHS computer lab. This is the first step in the college financial aid process. Parents should bring SSN or alien registration number, 2015 tax returns, and balance of checking, savings, and investment accounts. Parents of juniors are invited to attend the ICAN (Iowa College Access Network) presentation on college financial aid Thursday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the OHS Library. This annual spring presentation explains all about completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) which opens October 1.
