“Angels and Troublemakers” Performance Will Coincide with IHCC Diversity Conference

OTTUMWA-One’s Company, starring actress Pippa White, will be performing Angels and Troublemakers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 10 at St. John Auditorium on the Indian Hills Ottumwa Campus.  This free performance is sponsored by the Indian Hills Community College Fine Arts and Student Services Departments.  It is being performed in honor of Women’s History Month and in conjunction with Indian Hills’ 13th Annual Diversity Conference.

One’s Company Productions is a collection of one-woman shows written and performed by Pippa White.  Her love of dialects and accents allows White to bring to life a full cast of characters in stories that empower women.

Angels and Troublemakers tells the stories of women who endured threats, harassment and ridicule to end child labor, to improve conditions for the poor and the oppressed, and to further women’s rights.   White specializes in the stories of history.  Her one-woman show features several characters based on true people and events from women’s history.

Each year the Indian Hills Diversity Conference offers unique opportunities to explore issues of the human condition.  Pippa White will be featured in a conference session during the day on March 10 at the Diversity Conference.  Information on the Indian Hills Diversity Conference is available at http://www.indianhills.edu/news/events/diversity.html
