OTTUMWA-Plans are being finalized for this week’s 13th annual Diversity Conference, hosted by Indian Hills Community College.
The conference has received a grant award of $233 from Humanities Iowa, a state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, in support of a project called “Bringing Women’s History to Life through Storytelling.” Presenter Pippa White will be performing two sessions during the Diversity Conference, which will be held on Friday, Mar. 10. White’s conference presentations will take place in Efner Hall on the IHCC Otttumwa campus, along with a free evening performance open to the community at 7:30 p.m., in St. John Auditorium.
