Update: Missing Ottumwa Man Found

OTTUMWA-Lt. Jason Bell of the Ottumwa Police Department sent a press release to local media outlets on the afternoon of Saturday, April 29th.  In the document he stated, “The missing person, Audie Templeton, has been located and is safe.”  No further information has been given.

 

Previous Press Release:

On Friday, April 28, 2017, the Ottumwa Police Department was notified about a missing person who departed their residence during the previous night.  The missing person was identified as Audie Lee Templeton, age 32, of 218 N. Van Buren, Ottumwa.

 

Templeton is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, green eyes, and brown hair.  Templeton was also wearing a white t shirt, blue jean pajama pants, and eye glasses.  Templeton is mentally handicapped.

 

Templeton regularly frequents areas on and around railroad tracks.
