Fairfield Police Identify Suspects in Recent Crime Spree

Fairfield, Iowa-The Fairfield Police Department has identified suspects in the recent car burglaries and criminal mischief cases.  The Department is asking any victims who have not reported such crimes to come forward.  These crimes happened on or about June 1, 2017.

Cars were egged from 2nd & Filmore to 6th & Jackson.  Cars were burglarized in the previously mentioned area, near the Square, and near the High School.  There were garage windows broken out, fences damaged, and a bug zapper destroyed primarily in the north/south alley between 2nd and 3rd Street from Iowa Avenue to Jackson.

The Department is asking any victims who wish to pursue charges to provide an estimate of damages or list of items stolen and replacement cost.  Victims may either call the Law Center at 641-472-4146 or stop by the Law Center at 1200 W. Grimes.
