Fun adults wanted for a one-day tournament hosted by the Ottumwa Noon Lions Club

The Ottumwa Noon Lions are bringing a Saturday of fun to Ottumwa with their Annual Adult Co-ed Kickball Tournament. Registration is open now so it’s time to get your team together.

The tournament will be held on Saturday, May 5th (rain date of Sunday, May 6th) at the softball fields on the corner of Hwy 34 & 63. Team registration begins at 8:00am with the first round of games at 9:00am. Participants must be 18+ to play with up to 15 on your team roster. Ten people will be on the field at a time, but everyone kicks. Teams must have at least 5 females at all times. It will be a double elimination tournament and there will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams sponsored by Saints Pub + Patio in Ottumwa – the Official After Party of the Kickball Tournament. Teams need to be signed up by Friday, April 27th.

All proceeds will benefit one of the Ottumwa Noon Lions many service projects around the community. The Noon Lions has been around for 79 years of service here in Ottumwa. They donate money and services to many area groups and charities including First Resources, Ottumwa YMCA, Hope House, the Iowa Sight Conservation Foundation and many others. In addition, the Noon Lions perform free vision screenings for children at local and surrounding elementary schools and send children to Camp Hertko Hollow, a camp for children with Diabetes, each summer, as well as provide assistance with eye and hearing exams, glasses and hearing aids.

Registration is $150 per team. Food will be sold on site.
