Team Registration Event, Thursday, August 2nd from 5-7 pm

OTTUMWA – The Alzheimer’s Association’s is hosting a Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team Registration Event on Thursday, August 2nd at Beach Ottumwa Shelter House in Ottumwa from 5 to 7 p.m.


Individuals who are passionate about ending Alzheimer’s and dementia are encouraged to get involved in this community event. Form a team, volunteer or donate for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year’s annual event will be held on Saturday, September 15 at Ottumwa Park for the south-central Iowa area.


Drop in and cool off Thursday at the Beach as you register your team in just a few minutes, enjoy a cool treat, pick up ideas for fundraising and how to encourage members to join your team. Learn how you, your employer, friends and family can join the fight against ALZ.  All individuals who raise funds for the Walk have the opportunity to win cool prizes, gear and other items for raising funds.


Volunteers are also needed to help plan the event and assist on Walk day.
