Eldon, Iowa – The American Gothic Performing Arts Festival continues on Thursday, June 12 with performances at the Ottumwa Municipal Band concert and Singers on Tap at Pallister Brothers Brewing Company.
Singers will take to the Central Park stage at 7 p.m. to present selections from their upcoming performance of Bye, Bye Birdie slated for 7:30 p.m. June 21 at Bridge View Center. Following the municipal band concert, singers will head over to Pallister Brothers Brewing Company at 116 N. Market for an evening of singing. Cast members will present a variety of selections along with cold brews and pizza provided by the festival board of directors.
On Sunday, the board of directors welcome the public to an open house at their new home located at 529 E. Main Street from 7 to 8 p.m. The former B’nai Jacob Synagogue has been renamed Temple of Creative Arts and became the festival’s office, event and performance venue in March. The community is invited to tour the facility and hear about plans for the historical space’s development.
