Wapello County Conservation Board Announces Annual Halloween Hike

OTTUMWA – The Wapello County Conservation Board would like to announce that the annual Halloween Hikes will be taking place from 6 – 8 pm both Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. The theme of this year is Yellowstone National Park. We will get a visit from a former president as well as animals and plants from the area.

This is a non-scary, educational event for the entire family. You will travel the 1/2 mile paved path at Pioneer Ridge Nature Area meeting characters from the Yellowstone. After the hike, you will enjoy treats, games and more in the nature center.
