Wapello County Recorder’s Office Resumes Passport Service

OTTUMWA – The Wapello County Recorder’s office has resumed accepting applications for passports.  You can now apply for routine service and expect to receive a passport in 10-12 weeks. You also have the option of paying an additional $60 for expedited service to receive your passport in 4-6 weeks.  The Recorder’s office accepts applications for new passports as well as renewals.  Passport photos are taken on site as well.  At this time, we are encouraging appointments which can be made by calling 641-683-0045.  Applications are accepted Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.  For more information travel restrictions and passport requirements visit http://travel.state.gov
